Recent Knitting, large and image heavy

Well, I think it's time to get going. This is all knitting but I'm pretty pleased with it.

I'll have sewing soon, I think.

This is based on the pattern available online by Lindsay Henricks. She did hers in the traditional green and black, but I thought that SparkleyPoo House doesn't get enough love, so I chose Pink and Purple. Cute, huh? I hope to finish it by the time Book 7 comes out.

It's finished! Pretty, huh? It's longer than the other one I have (*makes note - post that one*) but I like it tons. I could have gone up another needlesize or two and gotten something even bigger and drapier.

This is a close-up of the button I used to close the shoulderette. It's one I've had for about 8 years now. I'm so happy it's found a home.

Here's the Baby Surprise Jacket I'm working on. I've started the increases and am steadily working towards finishing. Better hurry, though.

I want to make another BSJ in this yarn. It's sock-weight, and I love love love the color. Usually I don't like orange, but something about this one just grabbed me.

I... don't like House scarves. I don't really like to wear scarves either. However, I love this idea - it's an entrelac scarf in malabrigo in Gryffindor colors. Like a secret statement of fandom. *is stealth*

I'm working on this cardigan for myself. It's loosely based on a pattern I wrote for someone else in a different size. I've made several modifications - but really I'm just looking forward to wearing it. The front opening will be steeked, with a zipper inserted later.

I posted this before, but I wanted to keep everything in one place. This is based on the shrug pattern in One Skein Wonders - but I used a different yarn and made a slightly different size. I love it. It weighs NOTHING. Really.

I think that's it for now. I hope you like them.

Pretty - I like the scarf
Heh! Thanks. I'm very pleased with it. I'll post the Final Shot when it's done.
